Reg Schroeter was another long time Ottawa-based amateur who represented Canada at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Schroeter scored 12 goals and 17 points in 8 games in helping the RCAF Flyers win the gold medal. Schroeter had served as an air crew instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He later had a long career with the Federal Air Transport board.
Schroeter also had a long career as an amateur referee and as a RCAF Flyers archivist.
Reg Schroeter passed away in 2002.
